Join COS and Urban Rivers for a celebration of the diversity of avian wildlife that have been spotted at the Wild Mile. We have recorded 99 different species of birds so far, and maybe you will be the person to find #100! Drop in any time from 2-5pm for bird watching, hear from birding experts, and enjoy free beer from our neighborhood brewing experts. Beginning birders welcome and loaner binoculars will be available.

Pre-registration is not required.

Accessibility:
Event will be stationary and take place on a wooden board walk on the river. Traversing a long metal ramp is required to reach the board walk.

Weather/Attire/Other:
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Dress for the weather; hats are highly encouraged.

Free street parking is available along Eastman Street and Kingsbury Street. Public transit to site is available via North Ave Bus (route 72) and Halsted St bus (route 8).

In order to attend you must be FULLY VACCINATED. Please bring a face mask with you. You may be asked to wear it as needed by the trip leader.
