Join COS for a morning birding trip out to Crabtree Nature Center in Barrington. This destination is a favorite for many city birders who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle. The Forest Preserves of Cook County manage the property's prairies, woodlands, and wetlands that host 246 bird species throughout the year. We will walk roughly 2 miles of trails in search of species including woodpeckers, Eastern Bluebird, and Bald Eagle then end our time together inside the Nature Center building. Loaner binoculars will be available.
